Your explanation appears here
Real masonry use varies by brick size, joint thickness, workmanship, cutting loss and site breakage.
Your plan appears after calculation
Test a different wall size or thickness without changing your main result.
Calculate your baseline first
It converts wall length, height and thickness into net masonry volume, subtracts openings, estimates standard bricks per cubic foot, then adds the selected waste allowance.
A 1:6 cement:sand mix is a common general estimate for many brick walls, while 1:4 is richer and 1:8 is leaner. Follow your engineer, local code and site specification for structural work.
Waste covers breakage, cutting, handling damage and layout changes. Small simple walls may use about 3–5%; complex walls, many openings or transport handling may need more.
Results are estimates generated locally in your browser using standard brick masonry assumptions. Actual material use can vary by brick dimensions, joint thickness, mortar mix, workmanship, openings, wall ties, reinforcement, waste and local construction standards.
