Wi-Fi quality, router age, server limits, congestion and ISP traffic management can change actual transfer times.
Your plan appears after calculation
Test a different speed and file size without changing your main result.
Calculate your baseline first
It converts file size into megabits and divides by your Mbps speed, then adds your overhead allowance for real-world protocol and Wi-Fi loss.
Internet plans are usually shown in megabits per second, while file sizes use bytes. One byte equals eight bits, so 100 Mbps is about 12.5 MB/s before overhead.
Streaming depends mainly on download bandwidth, while gaming depends more on latency, stability and packet loss. A low ping and stable Wi-Fi often matter more than very high Mbps for gaming.
Results are estimates generated locally in your browser from the speeds, file size, devices, latency and overhead assumptions you enter. They are for informational planning only and do not replace an ISP service guarantee, router diagnostic, line test or professional network assessment.
