Calculate your baseline first
It estimates clicks from ad spend divided by CPC, then estimates conversions using your conversion rate. Revenue equals conversions × average order value, while ROAS equals revenue ÷ ad spend.
Break-even CPC is the highest click cost you can pay before ad spend consumes expected gross profit. It depends on conversion rate, average order value and margin.
Use CPA for acquisition efficiency, ROAS for revenue return and profit for margin-aware decisions. For ecommerce, profit and contribution margin usually matter more than revenue alone.
